Track of the month: Dark Sky - Clear

Boxing this track into the broad category of "house" almost doesn't do it justice - it's less club banger and more suited to the solitary night bus journey home at dawn. Blunt, repetitive percussion, subtle piano hooks and soulful vocals combine to create a complete unique track designed to transport the listener to a more peaceful place. It was first premiered in Bonobo's BBC Essential Mix a couple of months ago, and has just been released on Mister Saturday Night's latest compilation, Brothers and Sisters.
