The UK smoking ban was enforced in 2007 which prohibits smoking in public building and public areas – you’re not even allowed to smoke on train platforms anymore. There are new solutions being invented all the time and they mean you don’t have to stand outside in the cold at the pub on a Friday night just to get your nicotine fix, including Vapestick.
The interest in e-cigarettes has been rapidly increasing, especially as they’re great for indoor use. Vapestick is one of the newer brands and is a lot healthier because you’re breathing out water-vapour rather than smoke. They’re heavier than normal cigarettes but it’s worth it if you enjoy the luxury of being able to smoke indoors. The smoking alternative is also endorsed by many celebrities – including Kate Moss, Johnny Depp and Leonardo Di Caprio. If Leo can’t convince you to switch, nothing can.
However, there’s some questionability around the brand because they’ve managed to launch their £12m ad campaign in March onto billboards and public transport everywhere – promoting smoking even if it’s not in its conventional form. This advertisement along with it having health benefits should see more smokers switching to e-cigarettes instead of quitting smoking altogether.
