University of Dub presents 'Roots Dance Rockers' @ Scala

Friday night’s University of Dub session @ Scala, King’s Cross, promises to be a great night to exteriorise some of that accumulated stress during the week with some heavy bass drops and some good old skanking.
The session, entitled: ‘Roots Dance Rockers’, will bring together 2 giants of the UK scene. Host, Aba Shanti I, ‘Earth Rocker Sound of Jah Lightning and Thunder’ and Mikey Dread playing on the mythical Channel One Sound System, with outstanding singjay Ras Kayleb . The exclusive name on the line up, this time around; is the sound system, originally from Hawaii, Jah Youth, ‘Roots Ambassador’, with a great selection of tunes and shall be spreading the good vibes.
Another big night out dancing to a fabulous mix of roots and dub until the early hours. Scala is also a great venue and, as a personal fan of University of Dub, I would say that it is a must for reggae lovers if you haven’t yet been.
