Arnone provides the fire for Charge.
Mampi Swift's Charge Recordings has had a stellar year, and their latest release keeps that ball rolling. This time they've dropped a massive EP from newcomer, Arnone. The self-titled work features 5 heavy cuts including two collabs featuring Mollie Collins & Trimer. Across the five records, Arnone travels across the spectrum of drum & bass offering up a snapshot of the various styles that exist.
From big room madness, neuroesic carnage or cut throat jump up, Arnone glides through with issues. Leading the charge - sorry not sorry - is 'Riot', a fierce big room beat with ever rising tension. Strong opener that sets the tone for the rest of the release. He twists things up on 'Arctic Wolf' with Trimer, gets industrial with 'Sabre Tooth' and puts jungle on it's head for the stomper 'Brace Yourself'. Closing off the EP is 'Minions', an upfront jump up smasher with Mollie Collins that got heavy support on the radio from a range of DJs.
It's Arnone's debut release, and what a way to open. Get this guy on your radar now! Also shouts to PabloMontana1984 for his take on the release...
