Reggae Track of the Month: Pressure - Goodness

Reggae | Thursday 16th February 2017 | Tali

Singer and songwriter Pressure dropped smooth reggae track Goodness early last month.

The song provides soft and easy listening alongside lyrics celebrating the Rastafarian culture, and is similar to his 2007 hit Love and Affection which also displays a mellow yet powerful sound.

Hailing from the Virgin Islands, Pressure first got involved with the music industry by joining Lion Family reggae group. A collective of seven young local musicians who began to open for acclaimed artists like Capleton.

After his 2014 album Africa Redemption that glorified African culture and economic struggle, Pressure continues to create meditative music whilst spreading conscious messages about religion, slavery and inequality.
