He died in 1981 from Cancer and still, he lives on.
The life of Robert Nesta Marley will be documented and distributed by Magnolia Pictures on April 20th in the USA. Marley, directed by Scottish director Kevin Macdonald, will be first shown during the Berlin International Film Festival and Film Festival in Austin, Texas.
Rare footage, photos, interviews from his friends, family and band mates and performances of the legend have been used to portray his life.
He died at age 36 but "Bob Marley is a fascinating, towering figure in musical history, and Marley is the biography that he deserves," says Magnolia president Eamonn Bowles. This wonderfully crafted film is what Ziggy Marley, Bob’s son, described as “the ultimate revelation” of his father’s life. "The family is proud to be able to have the world finally experience this emotional journey."
