Beyonce has a Heart of Gold
Days after putting her star power behind the fight for justice for Trayvon Martin, Beyonce showed her support for victims of the Boston Marathon bombings on Tuesday night.
Queen Bey has made headlines all week for her fascinating “Mrs. Carter World Tour” shows, BUT her recent stop in Boston is the most significant headline of them all.
Days after getting her weave stuck in a fan and after supporting the #JusticeForTrayvonMartin rally; Beyonce was in Boston and she invited a few of the victims of the Boston Marathon Bombings backstage.
Just before her concert at TD Garden; the thirty-one year old singer met three victims of the Boston bombings which happened earlier this year in April. Three women who had each lost limbs in the horrific attack got to meet and take pictures with Beyonce.
Mary Daniel, 31, Adrianne Haslet, 32, and Heather Abbott, 38, whose stories were told in great depth in a ‘People Magazine profile in June’ each lost their legs and have learned to walk again with prosthetics.
Gratefully, Beyonce gave all the women words of encouragement to stay strong and positive about their new circumstance.
We all know Beyonce has POWER and she choose to use it to help others; isn’t that sweet?
