Nico Lindsay heads stateside for latest single
North London's Nico Lindsay has always been known to think outside the box when it comes to collaborations - searching for beats outside of the traditional grime scene and becoming one of the capital's first vocalists to really champion the gqom sound in the UK.
Now he's back with a new double-sided single, titled 'Figure Out', produced by Minneapolis-based artist, producer and DJ Su Na. The US beatmaker has previously worked with experimental RnB singers like Dizzy Fae and Ravyn Lenae, and cites influence from hip hop, uk garage and experimental electronic music.
The title track has a lo-fi, smokey hip-hop feel, while B-side 'Living In Life' picks up the pace with a bouncier UK-infused bassline.
