ERIC fest returns with live performance from Cadet!

RnB/Hip Hop | Tuesday 20th March 2018 | Alex

Off the back of last month’s digital and tech event, opened by Sadiq Khan and held at Bloomberg HQ, ERIC Festival returns this month with another free creative careers event for young people (16-25) – this time focusing on the The Arts industries (film, music, visual and performance arts).

Taking place at the iconic Somerset House this Sunday, on March 25th, ERIC Festival will play host to 400 budding professionals and entrepreneurs looking to get ahead in their chosen field within the arts and media.

They will have the opportunity to take part in live-action workshops, get physical with interactive exhibitors, network with professionals and gain invaluable insight from relevant speakers and partners. There’s complimentary food and refreshments (which includes a juice bar, doughnut wall and pizza van) plus a special performance from rising grime artist Cadet.

Speakers, demos and interactive workshops will cover a wide array of arts industries including: a BBC 1 Xtra booth (where you can spit some bars and get critiqued) and ProCam (showcasing the latest camera technology in the market), while The Wembley To Soweto Foundation will lead four photo-walks along The Embankment and South Bank.

Fashion label Quillattire will also be demonstrating how the visual arts and fashion industries can work together, plus there will be talks from photography and graphic design agency Olga & Kay, Dice, The V&A and many more.

Visit the website for tickets and a full breakdown of the speakers and workshops on the day.
