Commonly known for their soulful refix tracks and self-written singles, SINE drop their latest version of Yxng Bane's 'Rihanna'. Described as a "classy" and a "sexy" jam, the girl group are one to watch in 2018.
We caught up with SINE to talk inspirations, growing up in London, upcoming projects and what we can expect from them in 2018.
What does SINE stand for?
Strong, Intelligent and Natural Energy!
So you are both from London right?
We’re from North London actually.
Did you get into trouble growing up? Were you the bad kids at school?
Can’t you tell?!
So what is the greatest challenge that you’ve faced in your life?
Needing more money, struggling being a rich person in a poor person’s life.
At what moment did you first think, I can make this music thing work?
When we were in Bournemouth on the beach on drugs and we had an epiphany that we needed to form a group and do it together once and for all - it had been in the back of our minds since the age of 10!
If you could change the world in one way, what would you do?
Remove the evil part of human nature.
Who have you met in your life that has changed your life?
Our best mate T- with her unwavering ruthlessness that makes us stronger.
When did you decide to go into music together?
We’ve been doing this together from day (we used to be called Coffee and Cream in school days) but we only started taking it seriously for the past year.
Tell us about your latest cover of the Yung Bane song, ‘Rihanna’?
It’s peng, we’re peng, that’s it.
What inspires you in life?
Cash, Chocolate, Cake, Champagne, and music obviously…all the C’s.
We also saw you had your debut performance at Birthdays, how was that?
A learning experience.
What is it about you that is going to make you guys successful?
We ain’t stopping and we have each other.
What are you most looking forward too?
Money, making music with DOPE people, living our best lives.
