Junction 2 return for round 2!
With just under 2 weeks to go, Junction 2 returns to Boston Manor Park for their second outing after last years resounding success.
Expanded to five stages of music for their 2017 event, Junction 2 bring back Drumcode's raw industrial arena, the new, intimate woodland stage is hosted by East London promoters 'Into The Woods' an area offering comfortable hammocks, where punters can take a break from the dance floor and soak-up the festival vibes.
In terms of uniqueness, Junction 2 delivers the raw industrial feel of raving under a M4 by-pass with cutting edge techno for the hardcore faithful. Each space is carefully laid out and uses Boston Manor Park to its full potential, providing clever and creative spaces to make Junction 2 stand out from the rest.
Below are some of the reasons why Junction 2 should be your next stop on your festival highway this summer...
Drumcode Stage: The largest and most iconic stage, and surely a tough act to compete with, It is set on a giant outdoor stage, the crowd crammed in between trees, spreading up under the flyover so that the view of the stage from far away is a sight to behold. Atmospheric doesn’t begin to cut it!
No VIP: LWE, London Warehouse Events who stage Junction 2 think that VIP areas have gone a bit crazy recently and it wasn’t something they felt was synonymous with the techno community. So they cut that shit right out. We are all equal, nice one.
No stupid sound restrictions: Being under the M4 by-pass the usual festival sound restrictions are not applied by Brent Council, so last year everyone positively commented on the heavy-weight sound levels across the site which makes this the ideal outing for honest to god music lovers.
The Closer Stage: Particularly enjoyable during the day, sheltering fragile minds and bodies from the light of day and plunging ravers back into their comfort zone – total, sweaty darkness.
