With the anti-science Republican Party currently being in control of the USA, the need to educate people about both the natural world and the cosmos is higher than ever.
Astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson, who is arguably the most famous scientist alive, recently released a video on his YouTube channel StarTalk Radio in which he blasts America's currently anti-science policies and talks about how they could potentially impact the future of the country.
Tyson is usually known for being polite and mild mannered, but here he really lets off steam as he blasts the pro-interventionist, pro-life party who deny the existence of climate change, who are against universal healthcare, who are against ending the drug war by legalising, taxing and regulating all drugs, who insist on teaching creationism over evolution in schools, and who are just generally against doing anything that benefits the American people.
This is something that all Republican voters should watch.
