Getting ALL the right vibes from Xana Romeo

Reggae | Wednesday 8th March 2017 | Tali

Xana’s mix of hard dub beats with smooth and sweet vocals provide the perfect sound for her powerful and political lyrics.

As the daughter of Jamaican reggae and roots artist, Max Romeo, Xana is doing more than just following in her father’s footsteps.

Her father’s musical influence encouraged her to take up a career in the industry in 2012 and she released her debut single No Love, a roots dub track about the harshness of the system we live in, two years later.

Xana’s strong production and inspiring lyrics are leading a new generation into rising and fighting for their rights by speaking of and celebrating black African history, Rastafarianism and the social issues that she deems important.
