Klock & Dettmann collaborate on Ostgut Ton's 100th release

House | Monday 9th January 2017 | Arren

Marcel Dettmann & Ben Klock collide for the 100th release on Ostgut Ton.

Taking the imprint's discography to OTON100 the Berghain residents; Ben Klock & Marcel Dettmann provide the imprint with 7 dynamic techno tracks in their first studio collaboration in a decade.

Phantom Studies is an extended 40 minute seven tracker seeing Klock & Dettmann exploring their mutual musical vision that has taken them across the globe to the worlds best dancefloors and help shape perhaps the biggest techno club of our generation.

Out January 27th, the EP sees the pair take their sounds outside the club with more soulful and hypnotic styles working with their unmistakable rugged sound. Neither the experimental or club aspects take over - instead the release is the perfect harmony between the two.

The last Klock & Dettmann collab was back in 2007 for 'Scenario' and before that was Ostgut Ton's debut release Dawning/Dead Man Watches The Clock back in 2006.
