Mark your calenders now, because on 20th July, the dynamic spinster duo, Kyodai, will be hitting up Dukes House to present an explosive performance. Japanese in name, Spanish in blood, and signed with Swedish label Local Talk, Kyodai are bound to bring something epically global to the stage. Growing up with a jazz scholar and saxaphone playing father, the boys have jazz and classical music in their blood. Kyodai combines their jazz upbringing with a refreshing taste to create a truly unique sound you do not want to miss.
‘Breaking EP’ reached the top of the list in Gilles Peterson's An All Winners Show and for good reason. Their track's subtle hooks and intense builds rip the scene apart creating a perfect piece for the dance floor. With their garage and tech-house beats, they are an act on the rise. The upstairs lounge for the evening will feature disco, soul, and funk soundtracks by the heavyweight crew (X-Press 2), Dave Jarvis (Faith), Tim Keenoy (The Date) and Si Kurrage (SDM). Definitely not a night to miss!
