Afropunk is coming to London

Afropunk is bringing the power to the party spirit to London this September. The festival prides itslef on celebrating diversity and the line up certainly does just that with the queen, Grace Jones, set to headline alongside a variety of talent spanning mulitple genres.

Grace Jones is, simply put, an icon and an inspired choice to to headline after the controversy surrounding their original pick, M.I.A. Her performance will no doubt bring an injection of style, and energy to the stage. Birmingham signer / songwriter Laura Mvula joins with her rich tones set for a soul-searching show and it will be great to see the energetic indie-punk of The Noisettes back in action. 

Outside of the music, there’ll be the SpinThrift Market traders with bespoke goods and crafts and a curated food truck rally, pop up restaurants, arts and more.
