Norman Jay MBE is taking the Good Times east

On 27th August legendary DJ Norman Jay will be making a rare appearance on the other side of town with Good Times Goes East.

Norman Jay MBE is synonymous with west London’s party scene, throwing down sublime funk and soul at his world renowned Good Times parties and heading up one of Carnival’s best loved sound systems.  Last year for the first time ever, Norman took his trusty records across the city for the inaugural Good Times Goes East and he's doing it again in 2016, bringing his unbeatable Carnival warm-up vibes back, this time to Bethnal Green’s Oval Space, for one night only.

Following hot on the heels of the ultimate boat party experience, Good Times on the Thames, and a guest presenting spot on BBC 6 Music, sitting in for Gilles Peterson, both on 13th August, the Oval Space is guaranteed to be jumping all night long to Norman’s summer sounds.
