Scottish indie-pop quartet Model Aeroplanes share the video for new single ‘Whatever Dress Suits You Better’, out July 8th via Island Records.

Inspired by early Top of The Pops and The Word TV shows, the band - Ben Buist, Grant Irvine,  Kieran Smith and Rory Fleming-Stewart - reveals that the visuals were conceived, filmed and edited over the space of a weekend, "we came up with the idea within the band and then shot, directed and produced it ourselves, it really gave us the creative freedom. We wanted to show the band playing live, but not playing live, in a fun way none of the instruments were plugged in and this is all really apparent.” The single, which shows a more playful side to the band, has proved to be one of the most popular tracks on their EP Something Like Heaven

With a string of live shows in the pipeline for this summer, including slots at Electric Fields and Kendal Calling in the UK, Indiependence in Ireland and Bergenfest in Norway, Model Aeroplanes are a force to be reckoned with.
