No One In Estonia Died A Crime Related Death In January

Other | Monday 15th February 2016 | Tom

At the risk of being prejudice, when you think of Eastern Europe your first thoughts are not that of peace, however, during the month of January not a single person died a crime related death in Estonia.

The especially low crime statistic has been attributed to two things, one being the bitterly cold weather that Estonia suffers from in the winter, which probably means all the criminals are confined to their houses and the fact everyone is still recovering from the holiday season.

Some people have accused the police of covering up murders as ‘accidents’ in order to lower crime rates, but with no proof against this Estonia is actually looking like a pretty peaceful place!
