British Black Woman Found Dead in Her Cell
On January 11th a black British woman was found dead in her cell under suspicious circumstances in Holloway Prison, North London.
After the loss of her child in 2003, Sarah Reed, 32, became mentally ill, as well as having previously challenged racism and violence from a Metropolitan Police Officer who was later sacked.
This led her family to believe that she was deliberately targeted by the police as an act of retribution.
Falsely accused of shoplifting, CCTV footage shows PC James Kiddie pulling Sarah by the hair and repeatedly punching her in the face.
