These 10 Big Companies Just Committed to Hiring More Women

Other | Tuesday 26th January 2016 | Michael

10 major companies just admitted that they don't hire enough women and pledged to do something about it.

The companies shared information about gender inequality in their workplaces via the U.N. Women’s HeForShe campaign, and found out their numbers are completely unacceptable.

In these businesses, women on average only make up 40% of employees, and men make up 73% of senior management.

Companies who pledged include: AccorHotels, Barclays, Koc Holding, McKinsey & Company, PwC, Schneider Electric, Tupperware Brands, Twitter, Unilever and Vodafone.
