Swoons are a hot-blooded trio of young urchins pumping out explosive song based indie rock anthems from Buckinghamshire to all corners of the UK.
Consisting of Luke Duffett (lead vocals and guitar), Jamie Maurice (bass and backing vocals) and Ciaran Forth (drums), the band formed in early 2014, and after months of sweaty sessions in Ciaran's shed, they have been on the road ever since.
Swoons' brand new single 'The Side', is taken from their forthcoming EP Ugly Apartments, which out in autumn 2015. Check the video below:
Swoons' sound is an addictive blend of Luke's yearning vocals soaring above gripping riffs and heartfelt melodies, whilst Jamie and Ciaran’s locked down rhythms create a strong and memorable foundation. They take a real DIY approach to everything they do, including getting in the back of the van, hitting the road, booking shows and taking their songs to the people.
