B.Miles drops sophomore single 'Shaking Hands'

Following on from her acclaimed debut ‘Nine Matches’, B.Miles has unveiled her sophomore single ‘Shaking Hands’, out on 28th August.
The LA-based singer has described her latest track as "a twisted version of 'The Boy Who Cried Wolf'": a more complex take on the classic fable that’s perfectly in keeping with her atmospheric sound. Miles’ lyrical inspiration comes from the likes of Nick Cave and Tom Waits, and this is evident throughout. The track’s production certainly matches her songwriting too, opening with distorted bass, minimal percussion and stuttering guitar lines. As the sound on the chorus opens up, B.Miles artfully demonstrates the impact of her soulful vocal in its higher range. Listen for yourselves:
