Teaser track 'Wounded Eyes' gives you a taste of what to expect from Memory Maze's forthcoming debut album From The Outside In, which is out on August 14th. And it's available as a free download!
Memory Maze, aka Yorkshire-born, London-based musician and producer Gavin Ellis, has already garnered support from the likes of Zane Lowe, The Guardian and Q Magazine, and based on the brilliance of 'Wounded Eyes', this is only set to continue. With dreamy kaleidoscopic guitars and synths, warm layers and a falsetto vocal, Memory Maze perfectly captures the late night narcotic-edged feel of a David Fridman (Tame Impala, The Flaming Lips, MGMT) production mixed with electronics.
