Electric Brixton sees another huge rave in its midst - Basslaced Presents: Shogun Audio

Drum and Bass | Tuesday 17th March 2015 | Nick

As I'm sure you're all aware, Basslaced have put some killer nights together, and this is no exception. Noisia, the kings of reese basses, growls and all things dark drum and bass, doing a B2B with Friction, a name that's imprinted in any electronic music fan's brain.

Noisia have been ripping the scene up with their latest release, 'Reptilians' featuring Mefjus & Hybris. It's a beast, listen to it here:

If that song itself has not already sold this for you, take a look at what else you can expect: Friction's new EP featuring Icicle and Technimatic is absolute fire and the latest release from the Shogun Audio mastermind, lisen to it here.

Phace - brought into the game originally by TeeBee and Ed Rush, he created his own history with The Phace Project, and in 2008 with fellow producer Misanthrop, he established Neosignal Recordings. In 2011, instead of being two separate producers, they decided to come together under the name Neosignal and debut their new found style and identity at fabric.

As shown with his album Entropy, Icicle has a great way of not letting things get too out of hand in his productions - they sound sharp and crisp, but really they're slightly minimalistic for drum and bass and dubstep. This is no bad thing, in fact, it only adds to the list of reasons why you should be at this event. This is a pretty big one too. Take a look at the video for Icicles Entropy live too.

That brings us onto the likes of Friction, who I shouldn't have to explain too much. If you don't know much about him, go and see for yourself and you wont be disappointed, I promise. The Brighton born drum and bass master has had releases on Shogun Audio, Valve Recordings, True Playaz, Renegade Hardware and Elevate Recordings, so you know he's the real deal. Give his '100,000 followers on Facebook' mix a listen, it's great.

Nothing else needs to be said about this night, it's unmissable, so make sure you're there!
Tickets are currently at £17 here
