Karen O's 'Wedding Song'

Not sure about you guys, but one of our favourite pieces of music on the Yeah Yeah Yeah’s latest offering, Mosquito, is ‘Wedding Song’.
This isn’t just because it is so beautifully written, it’s because of the story behind the song.
The band’s lead singer Karen O, married her husband in 2011, and at the ceremony, performed a song to him. You guessed it, aptly named ‘Wedding Song’ is the song she sung to him. Isn’t that sweet?
The song is vaguely similar to the hit ‘Maps’ from their last album It’s Blitz. That’s probably why we can’t get enough of it.
