The UK festivals you cannot afford to miss this Summer

After a long and cold winter, it’s easy to dream of summer festivals, so to help get you through spring, here is a quick preview of all the best festivals in the UK this summer.
Glastonbury (26th – 30th June)
Of course we have to mention the legendary Glastonbury festival, which is back for another year with an outstanding and incredible line-up. Performances from The Rolling Stones, Arctic Monkeys, Mumford and Sons only scratch the surface of this year’s crop of artists. Glastonbury 2013 sets to be bigger and better than ever before.
Reading (23rd – 25th August)
The line-up at Reading festival seems to get better every year, and 20143 is no different. Headliners include Green Day, Biffy Clyro and Alt-J as well as Eminem’s only UK festival performance of the season. Popular amongst younger students, Reading festival never fails to disappoint!
Wireless (12th – 14th July)
Moving from Hyde Park to the Olympic Park in Stratford, Wireless festival is boasting a massive line-up this year. Huge artists such as Jay Z, Justin Timberlake and Rita Ora will be gracing the stage across the weekend festival, which kicks off on 12th July. The main highlight has to the two mega star powers that is Jay Z and Justin Timberlake coming together and performing on the Sunday. But tickets are selling out fast so you need to be quick!
Global Gathering (26th – 27th July)
Every year in July, thousands of ravers descend on Stratford-upon-Avon for a weekend of the best dance and electronic music. Plan B, Example and Disclosure all set to perform over the course of the weekend. Global Gathering brings together all the best talent from the world of dance over one glorious weekend.
V-Festival (17th – 18th August)
This year the Queen of pop herself Beyonce will be headlining the 18th Annual V-festival. Mrs Carter will perform at Hylands Park, Chelmsford on Sunday 18th August and Weston Park, Staffordshire on Saturday 17th. The other main stage headliner is American rockers Kings of Leon with Emile Sande and Jessie J also set to perform. V-fest combines all the best music, whether it’s rock, indie or pop, every genre is covered.
