About Wayne - New Sound from Italy

There's is an Italian band that catch my attention lately, and I'm sure that the British audience could be able to welcome their sound with open arms. I'm speaking of About Wayne, an alternative rock band from Rome, that can be appreciated for the great instrumental skills and deep voice of the singer Giampaolo Speziale. Everythings started from him in 2008 who teams up with Giovanni De Sanctis (bass), Francesco Maras (drums), Jacopo Antonini (guitar) and Daniele Giuili (guitar) to deliver on the music scene a fresh sound, something totally different yet professional, to which the Italian public was not used but who appreciated.
In their lyrics there is anger, discomfort, but also love. And all that shines through their music. That kind of music built with perfection and harmony, powerful and deep. Their first studio album Rushism was well welcomed in 2011, which contained a really excellent reinterpretation of Beatles' Eleanor Rigby, among other original and unpublished songs.
Touring Italy, About Wayne are now in studio recording new tracks, but they already have released their first new single The Story To Tell Our Child , anticipated days before throughout the hastag #LeeWasNotAlone. In the original video the band imagine what was behind the act of Lee Harvey Oswald in Dallas in 1963 , because according to them, was not alone (it's just a coincidence that this year is the 50th anniversary of the death of JFK, they say).
