The Return Of The Bad Seeds

Ever watched a film and wondered who sings the song in the background?
Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, who are known for their brand of mellow rock music, are a film soundtrack favourite, being recently included in films such as Lawless and Days of Grace. The band are lyrically dark, singing songs of broken girls and lost hopes and dreams, on top of blues and some late 50's Rock n Rock style rifts. It makes for a unique antiquated yet modern sound that only they could pull off. I find that Nick Cave's music can be quite depressing at times so I have to be in a specific mood to enjoy it, but don't dismiss it. Their new Album Push The Sky Away is out tomorrow so give it a listen and maybe, like me, you'll find their music to be an irreplaceable part of one of your playlists. The Australian band have recently announced their tour dates, and will be in the UK from Saturday 26th October, tickets are selling out quickly so be sure to purchase them ASAP before you miss out.
