Indie/folksy fans can get their taste of a mini festival this summer too. Back for a second year running is Mumford and Sons’ Gentlemen of the Road Stopovers tour. With the tour only hitting five venues in total, UK fans will need to be hot on their heels to grab tickets to this one which is in Lewes, East Sussex.
On the Stopovers tour, get pumped for an eclectic line up with headliners Mumford and Sons and Vampire Weekend. The two day event will also feature the likes of The Vaccines, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros and The Mystery Jets. The bands will take the stage at The Convent Field in Lewes on 19th – 20th July 2013.
To keep the folksy festival vibe going, you can book a spot on the Priory Fields campsite when you buy your tickets. And like all venues chosen for the Stopovers tour, Lewes has a certain unique charm about it. The town is famous for its bonfire celebrations, parades, legends and folklore. So it’s sure to be a fun-filled weekend.
