Hurts’ new video for ‘Miracle’

The Manchester’s electronic indie duo are starting the year with new material. After their debut album Happiness, which was released in 2010 and sold over one million copies, singer Theo Hutchcraft and synthesist Adam Anderson, are presenting their second album Exile with the first single, ‘Miracle’.
Their first album sound was more electro in the line of Muse or Monarchy, maybe a little more 80’s. But we can see that for this second work, they are experimenting with other styles like in the song ‘The Road’, which has heavy elements. Exile keeps their dark essence of heartbreak desperation though, as we can see in the new track ‘Miracle’. But for Hurts, even in the deepest darkness, there is space for hope, as they ‘still looking for a miracle’.
The track received its first worldwide radio play on Huw Stephens show when he covered the Radio 1 breakfast show today, calling Hurts “one of the most stunning bands around”. Zane Lowe also played the track on his Radio 1 show last week and said “We like this, this is called ‘Miracle’. Quality songwriting, brilliant production, really confident”.
Preceded with this great reviews, next 7th February they will be performing at Heaven, London, as part of their headline European tour in a sold out event.
