Angus Stone plays at Shepherd's Bush

Indie/folk singer Angus Stone arrives in London this month to perform at the Shepherd's Bush Empire.
After formerly performing as part of the duo ‘Angus and Julia Stone’, the Aussie singer embarked on a mission to entice audiences as a solo artist. Under the pseudonym Lady of the Sunshine, Angus released his first album Smoking Gun in 2009 and followed this success with another, when he produced Broken Brights in 2011. His blend of heartwarming guitar melodies with enchanting vocals has enabled him to please audiences worldwide and has indeed lived up to many individual's high expectations. Mr Stone’s persona and meaningful lyrics have struck a chord with many people wishing to exclude themselves at the rare occasion from thrashing guitar solos and heavy drum patterns, throwing them into a wondrous pool of careless bliss.
Rest assured that when he crosses the red line onto the infamous Empire stage on the 13th of February, he will leave an air of calm and ponderment in the building as he drifts off into the cold, dark London night.
