Photek’s new album Ku: Palm

Drum and Bass | Tuesday 2nd October 2012 | Shavy

Photek returns with his new album Ku: Palm which will be released on October 23.

Rupert Parkes popularly known as Photek is set to return with his new album named Ku: Palm. This album is released after five dry years as his last album, Form & Function Vol. 2 was released in 2007.

Photek has been producing music for dance floors since 1994 and this album will prove that the Drum and Bass titan still has the potential to push the genre forward.

According to Photek himself, KU:PALM reflects not only Photek's widening stylistic palette, but that of the scene itself: "The last few years completely changed," he says of the environment that coaxed him back into producing for the club. "There's a real freedom and excitement in bass music once again."

He promised that Ku:Palm will work just as well in your headphones as it does while blasting through a club's sound system. The album mixes recent singles like "Aviator" and "Sleepwalking" with previously unreleased material.

Ku:Palm will be available on October 23 via the artist's own Photek Productions. The track listing is available below and the cover is up above.
