Little Black Submarines

Not only are we excited about the fact that The Black Keys are coming back to London in December (get your tickets here) but they have just recently released their video for 'Little Black Submarines' one of our favourite tracks on their new album 'El Camino'.
It starts with the rustic tones of Dan Auerbach compimented with an acousitc guitar and then later introduces a section where the drums and electric guitar take over with a surprising, yet pleasing, juxtaposition. The vocal tones continue to smooth out the sound with all the emotion of the blind, broken heart that is sung about.
The video itself is a performance by the band and sort of looks like a moving polaroid photograph with deep blacks and a grainy picture, keeping with the alternative image of the band.
We reckon they have nailed it once again and can't wait for the tour!!
