A look at the 69th Venice Film Festival's Show Stoppers
What do Philip Seymour Hoffman, Rachel McAdams and Zac Efron have in common? Well, nothing really, except for films in this years Venice Film Festival. Traditionally a gala of new, established and alternative writers, directors and stars, the Festival that has been taking place over the last few days, and will continue until the 8th of September, is a smorgasbord of talent.
But what stands out and is a great point of interest for us here at Guestlist is the varying and eye-catching fashion!! Two of the most talked about ensembles this year has been from two fashion industry favourites. Kate Hudson has received rave reviews and glowing commentary for her golden Versace gown. This girl is class head to toe and is never seen with a hair out of place. Unfortunately, for Britain’s own Florence Welch, her reviews have been a little more inconsistent as she went for a bold pattern-clashing look with designs by Miu Miu, something unseen in a red carpet setting. Having said that, it is not entirely unusual for us to witness the vocalist march to the beat of her own drum when it comes to wardrobe choices.
What do you think red carpet enthusiasts? Is Kate Hudson as divine as everyone is making her out to be? Has Florence gone a little too far this time or should we encourage her attempt to stand out?
