Watch out for Alt-J, Festival fans!

They were an insiders' tip and they're about to hit the roof: Alt-J are one to watch out for during the festival season. With their debut 'An Awesome Wave' they left their listeners astonished, happy, confused – and addicted. These four guys from Leeds manage to create revolutionary sounds that float between pop, folk, indie, R&B and dubstep. They aren't afraid to explore the depth of their musical potential in the most charming way, carried to extremes by their somewhat nerdy lyrics that at times only consist of their own cipher language and at others articulate the band's deep love for triangles. Oh yes, the delta sign pitchforks them right into hipster heaven (it is created when you hold down the alt key on your computer keyboard and punch ‘J’ on a Mac, hence the name). Although each song is a journey to the unknown, the thirteen tracks on this album feel cosy and intimate. From mellow and catchy 'Matilda' to brain-explosion-provoking 'Fitzpleasure', Alt-J are definitely one of the most exciting bands of the year.
