The Great American Rap Album

Lupe!!! Where have you been my friend??? Obviously in the studio working on his new album Food and liquor 2: The Great American Rap Album. After listening to Lasers and getting the feeling like one of my favorite artist actually lost his talent or it maybe was just the voices from the people above steering him from what he does best, now let's face it; Lupe, a skateboard rap star with great lyrical ability has allowed the influences in his label to keep his skills in the dark for the sake of commerical interest. The most recent songs released from the album have shown that Mr Fiasco is back on form and ready to show his followers the old style we love best.
The new album is his interpretation of America. Lupe mentioned ‘The album is meant to be my interpretation of America. Politics, society, religion, class, race, food, all across the board. It was only right that we had to have a song that was a collage of that so people got it from the door that all these different things, topics that make up America, that make us Americans, the things that influence us and the things that we influence.’
There is more to come as this is only one part of the album with part 2 dropping a little later this year, he has said that it is about 80% complete, I know he bring his A game on this joint.
