The 23 year old has released his debut single ‘Fail for you’.
From the birthplace of folk legend John Martyn, New Malden in the South West of London, comes the next big thing in the acoustic world, Luke Sital Singh. In recent times acoustic music has suffered resurgence and this has been reflected within the charts, in the pop world acoustic performers like Ed Sheeran and Ben Howard storm the charts, Bombay Bicycle Club released their own acoustic album Flaws in 2010 and now a multitude of new acoustic talent is beginning to come through amongst them the likes of Lianne La Havas.
The new single offers staggering depth and maturity from a performer who is barely in his twenties, in hushed tones Singh’s ability to exceptionally convey emotion is second to none. The track provides a mixture of bare and soft tones and a hushed melody which ultimately creates a mellow chill out track which doesn’t just sing you to sleep, it holds and gently rocks you before setting you down on a bed of pillows.
If you’re a fan of Damien Rice, Luke Sital-Singh will be right up your street and with this being his first attempt at a single the future looks like an exciting place for the 23 year old with it currently sat at the top of the @noisetrade downloads chart.
