Twisted Insane & Insane Clown Posse at the Gathering of the Juggalos Festival, That’s Insane!
The name says it all really. Twisted insane is an x-rated hip hop artist who makes some twisted up music. He’s an extremely gifted lyricist who talks about some fuk’d up scenarios that make you question reality, morality and his god damn sanity. His music videos have a unique look about them as he really pushes the boundaries of rap and doesn’t seem to fear the consequences of talking his mind. This guy was living homeless before his rise to fame, he started selling his music to rent accommodation and buy food. After a cult like following from his supporters he went on to really flourish with his unique sounds. Respect to him as he’s come up a long way from where he was, check his soundcloud and download his mixtapes. It’s worth it!
He’s making an appearance at The Gathering of the Juggalos festival at cave in The Rock, Illinois between the 8th and the 12th of August this year. The gathering brings together over 100,000 spectators for the music, wrestling, comedy and seminars. Really worth going if you can, as Twisted Insane will be performing beside Hip Hop greats such as The Game, Onyx, Warren G, The Pharcyde, Three 6 Mafia and DMX, as well as the godfathers of this festival - ICP.
Also making an appearance is Insane Clown Possee who have taken their contemporary style to whole new level. Ever thought clowns were scary? Well, these ones will definitely make you tremble. Their music is a mix of Hip Hop with a strong influence of Metal and wat-not, more commonly known as horrorcore Hip Hop. Not to everyone's taste but definitely worth a listen as they have something unique about them. They don’t seem to want to be like anyone out there, which got them a creepy sectarian following known as Juggalos and also got them under surveillance by the FBI for suspicions of organised crime. The “wicked clowns” duo known as violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope are renowned for creating elaborate and memorable performances each time they perform. They are the founders of the record label Psychopathic Records and they’ve gone from strength to strength since the late 90’s.
Their latest album, “The Mighty Death Pop” is about to come out and their new video single “Chris Benoit” is already online. Psycho music, trippy cinematics, and all-in-all savagery. Lovin it.
