“Stay Geek’d is the clothing line, rap is the bottom line. We push the boundaries each time we record. A unique take on student life and a hustlers mentality. Living to succeed, succeeding to live. Music is what we do” (Maroc – Rapper)
The up and coming hip hop group, The Geeks, have just released a free EP which is worth a listen, according to some. Critics claim they’ve emerged with a different perspective on rap with their first ever group mix-tape. Stereotypical perceptions of hip=hop have been broken down by their unique “Geek’d up” style different from the 'London rap' we’re all used to. Although they got a good response in West London they still lack the credit they deserve elsewhere. They are definitely ones to watch out for in the near future.
The lead rapper of the group, Bilal El Fakir A.K.A “Maroc”, shared his music with the Guestlist Network and he went on to mention his “bruvas from other motherz” Z-O, Tibz, Nadz, Shaq and producer J-Spekz, the original founders of the crew.
They’ve recently started putting their work online, and you can check them out by downloading their mixtape.

Editor's Note: TGN is a publication which tries to discover new artistic talent and put it out there. Bilal's first day as an intern already got him an article online to promote his group. That's just how we roll.
