Caspa ‘Sell Out EP’ Review

Other | Friday 15th June 2012 | Osh

Huge release from Dub Police just dropped on the 28th of May. The one and only ‘dopest ghost in town’ Caspa released a 3 song EP titled ‘Sell Out EP’ and it’s an absolute beast. His previous ‘Not for the Playlist EP’ was an incredible 4-song release that’s been getting dance floors stomping since it came out last August. But Caspa’s come back with even stronger material that’s sure to start riots in summer 2012 and beyond. All three tracks show case his incredible production skills and are made to be played at extremely high volumes. Opening track ‘You Sell Out’ is a screamer, a drop so heavy you feel like someone’s casually dropped a whale on your head, further solidifying why Caspa deserves to remain one of the biggest names in Dubstep. Second track ‘Jungle Juice’ is fitting with the vibe of the ‘Not For the Playlist EP’ with that thumping bass drum that just makes you want to get crunk and skank out. Final track ‘Room 324’ has the most chilled vibe. With a jungle feel rhythm and heavy bass over smooth chords, it’s the perfect music for driving around in a vintage convertible Miami Vice style. This is an incredible collection of songs, a literal must have for any dubstep fan. You can catch Caspa all summer playing various nights at Fabric where no doubt he’ll be slaying the club with these songs.
