After Chelsea’s victory against Bayern Munich in the Champions’ League Final on Saturday sparked crazy celebrations all over West London. The team even paraded on a victory bus to fans’ amazing welcome. But it is David Cameron’s personal celebration that has turned viral, with a little help from Photoshop.
David Cameron’s ‘fists-in-the-air’ goal celebration as Chelsea won the penalty shoot-out at this weekend’s cup final has been seen by millions all over the world. But internet-users have gone one better and placed Cameron’s now-famous pose into a number of iconic pictures.
From replacing Leonardo DiCaprio embracing Kate Winslet atop the Titanic, to taking Dave Rowntree’s spot on the infamous Blur best-of album.
As an Aston Villa fan, David Cameron looked over-early content as his raised his arms in happiness, revealing damp patches under his arms. Internet parodies are now non-stop after blogger Sunny Hundal was the first to create a spoof of the original photograph.
An unplanned competition over Twitter has caused thousands of entries from Tweeters the world over, posting their most creative and comical Photoshop pictures. Some have even suggested it would be the perfect, persuasive image for promote deodorant or anti-perspirant brands.
