New Artist Fair opens its doors to showcase 20 of the freshest artists
New Artist Fair is an organisation highlighting emerging artists who have been creating art for up to 10 years and are ready to establish themselves in the London art world in a friendly gallery without the usual hassles. The difference between the NAF and other gallery organisations is that they operate an open approach to all artists who are looking to promote and sell their work directly to art lovers without the usual gallery costs. It is run by artists, for artists and gives back the power to the artist, refreshing considering how the art industry works currently.
Between the 8-11th of September, they will be hosting a free show just off Brick Lane, showcasing 20 emerging artists who have been creating art for up to 10 years. At the exhibition there will be paintings, drawings, sculptures, prints and photography, showing the true diversity of NAF and the art they support.
The opening reception will run on Thursday 8th September between 5-9pm. The artists involved will be around to chat about their work in what is said to be a friendly and creative environment. The art is all available to buy and could be an extremely worthwhile purchase considering the amount of talent that will be there. Whats more, there is free wine for everyone! We’ll see you there.
New Artist Fair 2011 runs between 8th-11th September at 4 Wilkes Street, E1 6QF (Just off Brick Lane). It will be free entry at all times. For more information go to www.newartsfair.com
