Jessie J to collaborate with Nicky Minaj and Ariana Grande on new single

The 'Do it like a dude' singer yesterday revealed that she is teaming up with queen of hip hop Nicki Minaj and Disney star Ariana Grande for her new single 'Bang Bang'. The track will be the first release from Jessie's new second studio album 'Alive' which she started recording last year. According to a press release, the girls described the tune which is due for release at the end of the month as a "powerhouse anthem".
Jessie J tweeted "Me + @arianagrande + @NICKIMINAJ = BANG BANG world premiere 29th July! #Bang Bang". Along with the tweet, Jessie attached a picture of the track's cover art which fans on twitter described as "ultimate girl power". The track was produced by Max Martin, Savan Kotecha and Ilya who all recently worked alongside Grande for her smash single with Iggy Azalea "Problem" so there is no doubt that this mighty collab won't fall shortly behind.
It is clear that Jessie is excited about this new venture as she teased fans the day before by tweeting "not one..but TWO amazing feats on my next worldwide single! Find out who and what the single is called tomorrow." Joining her excitement are her fans where one stated "No way Jessie, you have absolutely smashed it!" and another said "this is such a massive collaboration, Im way too excited to hear that track".
However, after a long break from releasing any music due to her being a judge on The Voice and recording her album, some fans are not so excited about this unique team up. A regular listener to r'n'b stated "Bang Bang is Jessie J's fight for relevance, Nicki Minaj's commercial comeback and Ariana Grande's UK cross over single."
Nevertheless, Jessie's previous album reached certified multi - platinum in over 15 countries whilst Ariana Grande was labelled the youngest woman to debut with over 400k in the first week of her most recent single "Problem". On top of receiving a Grammy award, Nicki Minaj has also been awarded with the record for highest digital sales for a female hip - hop artist after her newest release 'Pills n Potions".
