Watch Giraffage's New Video For 'Close 2 Me'

Giraffage - AKA Charles Yin - is a San Franciso based producer/multi-instrumentalist and the newest signee of Alpha Pup Records. If you were to introduce someone to Giraffage's music, 'Close 2 Me' would be a great starting place – it's a warm, cutesy swirl of sample based pop , featuring skittering high hats and thick bass centred around the pitch shifted vocals of Cathy Dennis's 'Touch Me'.
It makes sense then, that 'Close 2 Me' is the song featured on his first official video.
Directed and edited by Paul Amadeus Kim, it features a passionate love triangle that violently comes undone; it feels like an ironic juxtaposition to the pastel sweetness of the track itself, which works brilliantly. Watch it here:
