A$AP Rocky Charged For Slapping Fan

The rapper allegedly slapped a female fan in Philadelphia, USA while he was performing at the Made In America festival over the past weekend. The alleged victim of the assault filed a criminal complaint claiming that the rapper was walking through a group of fans that who were pulling on his shirt. According to the alleged victim, A$AP Rocky then turned around and landed an open hand slap on her face, causing her to suffer from whiplash.
This is not the first time A$AP, one third of the hip hop group A$AP Mob has been charged with assault before. In 2012, the rapper was arrested for assault after a fight between the rapper and two photographers who had been filming him while he was involved in an altercation with someone else. A$AP Rocky struck a plea deal in this case, pleading guilty to attempted grand larceny with the robbery and assault charges dropped.
Also in June 2013, a video from the rapper’s performance in Sydney, Australia appeared to show him slapping a female fan in the face.
