Been Straight outta Compton for 25years

Today marks the 25th anniversary of the legendary west coast gangsta hip hop album Straight outta Compton by the world’s famous rap group N.W.A
The group consisting of rappers Eazy E, Ice Cube, Dr Dre, M.C. Ren and Dj Yella from Los Angeles who took shots at the police with “Fuck The Police”, taught people to “Express Yourself” and told everyone where they were coming from “Straight Outta Compton.”
Released on August 8th 1988, the album was the first hip hop album to be rated 5 star by Rolling Stone and was ranked 114 in Rolling Stones top 500 greatest albums of all time. It’s known for being majorly controversial, uncut, pornographic and street with no hidden messages. This album is known as the pioneer of Gangsta rap from the ‘World’s most dangerous group.’
