#SaveTheDolphin Pub Thursday 8th August
Other | Wednesday 7th August 2013 |
The Dolphin, Hackney. Where Legends Stand Alone.
One of Hackney’s most iconic pubs The Dolphin faces closure from the council next month. Having been open for over 150 years, this boozer is still going strong with their reputation firmly cemented in history. Famous for their iconic karaoke nights, the venue is full of character with its art deco interior, decked-out beer garden and late night licence, this is the perfect spot for a good old knees up! Over the years they have had a lovely mixture of celebrities (A list and Z list) trendies, not so trendies, backpackers, locals and everyone else you could imagine walk through their doors. Singing and dancing is encouraged and in some cases the worse the better! Why not come and find out what all the fuss is about...
On Thursday 8th August rock & pop collective, The Otherness will be kicking off the first night of their series of #SaveTheDolphin gigs this month. Doors open at 8pm and entry is by guestlist only. Please e-mail info@thedolphinhackney.co.uk to add your name to the guestlist. This promises to be a night of quality live music all in support of a good cause.
