Beyonce has given the city of Detroit some uplifting inspiration after the city's bankruptcy, the largest in the US to date. On her "Mrs Carter Show World Tour" she performed “A Change Is Gone Come” specially for the city, and has also released a tribute video.
Two weeks ago Detroit, Michigan filed for Chapter 4 bankruptcy after falling into debt of $18-20 billion. The country as a whole is aware of the struggle, and not only politicans are concerned but even major celebs as Beyonce herself. During her performance she showed the highlights of the cities' amazing artists such as Aretha Franklin, Eminem, Aaliyah and the Motown movement.
Check out the tribute below where she dedicates the famous Sam Cooke song "A Change is Gone come"!
