Azealia Banks Definitely Likes Dance Music Now!

What's Going on with Azealia?
It seems that the Harlem rapper of ‘212’ fame is making something of a foray into the dance world with last month’s surge of twitter-fuelled rumours concerning a potential collaboration with disclosure.
Azealia decided against playing it cool, tweeting: “Just had an amazing session with @disclosure!!!!” to which the Surrey lads completely shot her down in an interview with 3voor12 radio stating that “We don’t have a song with her yet. We’ve met her once. I think she’s kind of taken to Twitter quite heavily with the fact that she’s meeting with us. And people now think that we’ve made the greatest song of all time, and it doesn’t even actually have a chorus yet.”
Banks has a great deal of hype to live up to on her forthcoming, much delayed, debut LP, ‘Broke with Expensive Taste’ and although a couple of names, such as Pharell Williams, are now confirmed features on it, other collaborations are uncertain.
However it has been revealed that the hip hop bad-gal is definitely making a play at integrating into dance, making a vocal appearance (that is to say she actually sings) on Paul Oakenfold’s Ibiza club banger ‘Venus’. This seems to be a continuation from the EDM theme Azaelia set for herself in January with psychedelic , bass heavy drama ‘No Problems’; a heavily produced ‘witch-hop’ track featuring Steve Aoki and directly aimed at New York rival Angel Haze (They had a beef of some sort).
It would seem that Azealia’s place on the cool kid’s table is to be determined by her long awaited LP release which should be out any day now.
